一、Eligibility
(1) Love the motherland，Love socialism，physical and mental health，Have good political and business qualities，No illegal or disciplinary record；
(2) Full-time college students majoring in law (including undergraduate and graduate students) with good professional foundation and development potential；
(3) Reach the National College English CET-4.
二、Entry form
This competition takes two forms: Legal English Speech Contest and Legal English Essay Contest。
(1) Legal English Speech Contest
Comprehensive score evaluation of finalists.
(2) Legal English Essay Contest
The contestants shall submit a legal paper written in English to the competition organizing committee，The number of words is between 2000-5000 words，All participating papers will be submitted to the Legal English Expert Review Committee for anonymous review。
三、Registration and participation
(1) Registration method
Contest registration takes two forms: collective registration and individual registration.
Participating units and individuals must first log in to the School of Law and Political Science website of Beijing International Studies University (www.bisu.edu.cn) Download and fill out the collective registration form or individual registration form，Submit to the competition organizing committee by email (fz@bisu.edu.cn），Contestants of the Legal English Speech Contest must also submit the original registration form on site。
(2) Legal English Speech Contest Competition Time
Registration time: before January 31, 2008
Competition time: April 12-13, 2008
(3) Legal English Essay Contest Competition Time
Registration time: before January 31, 2008
Paper submission time: before March 10, 2008 (subject to local postmark)
Awards date: April 13, 2008
four,Awards setting and award ceremony
Legal English Essay Contest and Speech Contest have 5 first prizes respectively，10 second prizes，20 third prize winners，30 people receiving Progress Encouragement Award。There is also a Best Voice Award for the speech contest、One winner each for Best Performance Award and Best Collective Organization Award。
The competition organizing committee will invite CCTV、Beijing TV、"Legal Daily"、"Legal Evening News"、Reporters from "21st Century English" and related websites went to the awards ceremony for interviews、Report。The winning papers will be selected and published in national media。
五、Participation fee
The legal essay competition fee is 100 yuan per person (including registration fee、Assessment fee)；Legal Speech Contest fee is 160 yuan per person (registration fee、Assessment fee；Unified arrangements for food and accommodation，At your own expense。）
