According to the relevant provisions of the "Measures for the Selection and Reward of Outstanding Postgraduate Dissertations of Shandong University" (Shandong University Yanzi [2019] No. 87)，Declared by individual、Recommended by the Degree Evaluation Subcommittee、Expert review、Online announcement，In 2020-2021, our school has selected 1 outstanding doctoral thesis、1 excellent master’s degree thesis。

The school decides to award outstanding Ph.D.s、Recognition to the author and supervisor of the master's degree thesis。Ph.D. Lian Xueqing of our school (thesis title: "Research on the Protection of Basic Rights in the Field of Artificial Intelligence in the United States") was awarded the "Shandong University Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award"，Instructor Professor Xu Xianming was awarded the "Shandong University Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Bet365Guidance Award"。Master Zhou Muhan (thesis title: "Epistemological Interpretation and Theoretical Reshaping of Criminal Corroboration") was awarded the "Shandong University Outstanding Master's Thesis Award"，Instructor Professor Hu Changlong was awarded the “Shandong University Outstanding Master’s Thesis Guidance Award”。
