At the Asia Pacific Copyright Association (APCA) Annual General Meeting held on September 24，Professor Shi Wei of our college was elected as the vice president。Professor Shi Wei was elected as a member of the Association’s Executive Committee (Executive Committee) in August 2023，is the only executive committee member from relevant institutions and departments in mainland China。
The Asia-Pacific Copyright Association was initiated by Professor Adrian Sterling, an internationally renowned copyright expert，Established on November 15, 2011，Current members include from Australia、China、Fiji、Hong Kong SAR, China、Indonesia、Japan、South Korea、Malaysia、Nauru、New Zealand、Philippines、Russia、Scholars and practitioners Bet365 Pokerfrom Vietnam and other countries and regions。APCA is committed to building a cooperation platform for copyright and related rights and interests in the Asia-Pacific region，Pass legislative research、Multilateral dialogue and academic exchange，Responding to the needs and concerns regarding copyright protection and coordination in the Asia-Pacific region，Through active participation and promotion with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)、World Trade Organization (WTO)、Intellectual Property Dialogue and Exchange between the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and other international agencies on copyright and related rights and interests，Promote the opening up of copyright in the Asia-Pacific region、Tolerance、Development in the direction of balance and win-win。
